Welcome to the GameDev hub. This is where we document the process of creating our new production – a football card game that combines on-pitch tactics with rising multipliers.
Project Philosophy
We’re not building another complex simulator. We’re looking for the “fun-core” – simple rules that provide infinite depth during every run.
Our 5x5 Grid
We’ve moved away from the classic view. We have a 5x5 grid in a trapezoidal perspective. This forces spatial thinking and strategic unit positioning.
Balance: Stats vs. Multipliers
This is our biggest challenge. How do we ensure that player stats (SHO, PAS, SPD) matter in a world where card multipliers can skyrocket the score? We’re searching for the “Golden Mean”.
